Minnesota House Speaker Kurt Daudt endorses Karin Housley for U.S. Senate

SAINT PAUL, MN – Karin Housley, Minnesota state senator and Republican candidate for United States Senate, received the endorsement of Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives Kurt Daudt. Daudt has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2011 and as speaker since 2015.

“Karin Housley is a friend, a fighter, and a defender of our Minnesota values – and that’s why I’m tremendously proud to endorse her campaign for United States Senate,” said Daudt. “In the legislature, Karin has been relentless in pushing for responsible fiscal policy, demanding bureaucratic accountability, and protecting our constitutional freedoms. She will make a formidable United States Senator.”

“Speaker Daudt is a leader in our state and I am so pleased to have his endorsement as we work to bring Minnesotans a new voice in Washington,” said Housley. “Since we embarked on this journey in January, our campaign’s message of working hard, playing fair, and doing the right thing has resonated with Minnesotans across our state. With the support of Speaker Daudt and so many others, we will bring that message to Washington and shake things up.”

Housley previously received the endorsements of former U.S. Senators Rudy Boschwitz and Norm Coleman, U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer, and nearly the entire Republican delegation of the Minnesota legislature.
