Karin Housley Urges Bipartisan Fix to Employment-Based Immigration

On Tuesday, Karin Housley, candidate for U.S. Senate in Minnesota, released the following statement:

“The Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2017 is a bipartisan first step toward eliminating the backlog of employment-based immigration. The arbitrary limit on the number of employment-based green cards disproportionately affects communities such as the Indian community ā€“ which accounts for a large number of visas but a small number of green cards, and which makes tremendous contributions to our society. Iā€™m hopeful Sen. Tina Smith will join the bipartisan delegation of legislators in supporting S. 281.”
