Proudly representing Lake Elmo
I work for you
Since 2013, it has been an honor and a privilege to represent Forest Lake, Stillwater, and the surrounding St. Croix Valley in the Minnesota State Senate. During that time, I’m proud of the accomplishments we’ve made together. We passed landmark elder care protections, made record investments in area schools, and cut your taxes, to name a few—but there’s work left to do.
We are experiencing an unprecedented situation in our state and nation due to the COVID-19 pandemic—and there has never been a more important time for leadership, experience, and results. As your voice at the State Capitol, you can always count on me to put the people before politics and get things done. My priority is you!
Fighting for seniors
I spearheaded “landmark” legislation that provides protections for Minnesotans living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Minnesota’s population is rapidly aging—and our seniors need someone to fight for them. I’m proud to fight for our seniors and most vulnerable.
Investing in our communities
We’re fortunate to live in an area with great schools, supportive businesses, and incredible natural beauty. That’s why I’m fighting so hard to make sure we’re investing in these valuable assets—and actively working together to make them even better. I’m so proud to support our schools, our law enforcement, our small businesses, and the many other entities that make our communities so great.
Protecting your budget
Minnesota is among the highest-taxed states in the nation—but I’m working to change that. I’ve succeeded in working across party lines to deliver cuts to the income tax and Social Security tax, but we have more work to do. When our cost of living is lower, we can invest more in our local economies.
I need your help.
It’s an honor to represent Forest Lake, Stillwater, and the surrounding St. Croix Valley in the Minnesota Senate. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past seven years—but there is still work left to do.
That’s why I’m asking for your help. Together, we can continue to do good work for the people of our region and state. Can I count on your support today?
